  • Vladimir Dimitrov

    Vladimir Dimitrov

    Prof. Vladimir Dimitrov PhD is one of the key initiators for Bulgarian segment of the European Grid. His recent research and publications are on the usage of Z-notation and CSP for formal specification and verification of distributed systems, such as distributed business processes and MapReduce framework. Vladimir Dimitrov is a fulltime professor at University of Sofia. He is a member of editorial board of ITProfessional and Transactions on Cloud Computing.
    Areas of research interests:
    Grid and Cloud computing, database systems, formalization and verification of distributed systems.

    Rosangela Sviercoski, PhD, is a professor in Applied Mathematics with publications in computational methods in environmental sciences, data analysis, information and technology, stochastic/network modeling. Worked at the Institute for Information and Communication Technologies - BAS, under FP7-program as Marie Curie International Incoming Fellow. Before that, she worked in the USA, at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and Texas A&M University.

He is an active member of the Society of Psychologists in Bulgaria, also the Bulgarian Medical Association, the Bulgarian Association of Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, the Bulgarian Association of Clinical and Advisory Psychology.

    Computational Epigenomics is a research group within the department of Epigenomics and Cancer Risk Factors in the German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg, Germany. Yassen's main interest is in the diagnostic potential of methylation and other epigenomic data. He also likes to integrate heterogeneous repositories and to experiment with data visualization techniques.
